Uilleann Pipes, Bouzouki player from Co. Kerry
We’re very pleased to be hosting amazing uilleann piper, Tom Delany, for an intimate evening of Irish Traditional Music!
Tom was born and raised in France. His Irish father taught him tin whistle at the age of 12. By the time he was 13, Tom was performing on uilleann pipes! Since his first trip to Co. Clare, Tom has fallen in love with the music in the West of Ireland. He has a degree in Irish Folklore from University College Dublin, and a Masters degree in Irish Music Performance from the Irish World Academy of Limerick. Tom now lives in Dingle, Co. Kerry.
Tom performs all around the world regularly with various ensembles, including the amazing duet with his wife, Caroline Keane, as well as their band Four Winds.
It will be a real treat to have his lively and unique playing on display in such an intimate environment!
