Kevin Crawford
Kevin is a true powerhouse in this music. Most people know him for his 21 year (and still running) stint as flute, whistle, and bodhran player with Lúnasa. But his resume shows much more than that! Kevin has four solo albums, and numerous other recordings with the likes of Cillian Vallely, The Teetotalers, Moving Cloud, and The Drunken Gaugers. Kevin has been a huge influence on my music, and I can’t wait to host him and the gang!
Colin Farrell
Colin is another ubiquitous player. He has played with Flook, Grada, Karen Casey, John Doyle, Tim O’Brien, The Elders, Julie Fowlis, and The Michael McGoldrick Band. And he has been touring with Lúnasa in place of Sean, too! Colin has won numerous titles at the Fleadh Cheoil, and has made a name for himself as a composer as well!
Patrick Doocey
Patrick is yet another All-Ireland winning multi-instrumentalist, and he is one of Ireland’s most in-demand session musicians who has worked with Sharon Shannon, Liz Carroll, Lúnasa, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Teada, Buille, Cathal Hayden, Karan Casey, and singer Sean Keane, as well as filling in duties with Lúnasa. His most recent project is The Drunken Gaugers (along with Kevin Crawford, and our buddy Dylan Foley).
All in all, this is definitely going to be one for the history books! And of course, we will have all the usual spread of food, and people can bring libations to share.
